Mundesley our little seaside secret

Recently voted 2nd best beach in the country ....read more

Mundesley is a small (and largely undiscovered) pretty Victorian seaside village, with a great heritage, located on the North Norfolk coast.  It has an award winning beach, excellent village facilities and beautiful surrounding countryside for summer and winter walks.

The village features a unusual coastal church,  tiny museum, miniature golf, park, active village hall with events and social club.

Pubs

The village has three pubs, with excellent sea views to be had from The Ship, other excellent pubs nearby include the Vernon Arms, Southrepps (4mi), The Crown in Trunch (2mi) and the stunning Gunton Arms (5mi).

Village Shops

Despite it's size, it's still one of those rare villages to retain all its shops, including a grocers, butcher, fish shop, fantastic hardware shop and post office. Of course we also have a Tesco Express (2 min from the house) and larger stores including Waitrose and Sainsburys.

There is a very good fish and chip shop, chinese and terrifc tea shop - The Corner House

Surrounding Area

Meadow House is ideally situated to discover the charm of North Norfolk, The Broads (Sailing 5 miles) and the heritage coastline, including stunning villages like Cley and Blakeney as well as the many historic houses including, Blickling, Felbrigg, Holkham Hall and the Sandringham Royal Estate.

Cromer

The vibrant Victorian seaside town of Cromer is just 6 miles away. With it's pier, theatre, cafe's,  lifeboat museum, surf club and cinema, there's loads to do without going to far. The summer Cromer Cranival is a not to be missed week of activities and takes place each August.
